  • Medellin
One of the smaller cities in Colombia, Medellin was one of the most dangerous cities in the 1990s. Today, however, it is home to cable cars that link the different hills in the city. There are eco-parks and libraries too. Visit the Museum of Antioquia and then head to the hills using the escalator system to visit the colorful street murals. Finish off the tour with a visit to the Explora Park and the hands-on science Museum.
